The Innovation & Entrepreneurship Minor is a way for you to learn how to do what you love for as long as you want.
The Innovation & Entrepreneurship Minor is a way for you to learn how to do what you love for as long as you want.
We all have things that we are passionate about and enjoy but how can you turn these things into your career? The traditional academic way is to give you a set of tools, which have been passed on to generations before you, and send you off to figure things out on your own. No one really cares what you're passionate about, you're in this class to learn one thing only. For some people this might be the right thing, especially if they want to become a college professor, but for others the link to reality is missing. Don't get me wrong, learning a lot about many things is great but there needs to be a way to tie all of it together. The I&E Minor does exactly that.
Your entrepreneurship classes are a place where you can bring your passions and ideas, share them with others and learn from one another. The professors are not the typical college professors and rarely even want you to call them "professor". Most of all they are professionals who practice outside of class what they have just told you about in class. There is no: "In theory, this is how it is supposed to be." But more of "From my experience this is what made more sense to me."
If you are looking for a great way to turn your passion into your career then make sure to check out the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program.
