This Lucia is my 19 year anniversary – 19 years ago I came to live in Sweden for the first time. So I decided after so many years here it was time to bake Lussebullar (lusse buns) or Lussekatter (lusse cats). Swedes seem to love yeast buns and I always feel like it is a bit beyond my baking...

The last week has been classic November weather here in Stockholm, and in much of the country.Just a week ago I was scuffing through the piles of leaves on the ground, kicking them up as I walked along with my kids. They were golden yellow and had that lovely crunchy sound under your feet as you ...

Interesting.... have been wanting a wake-up light for years. Might be time to invest in one and I want to get one for the kitchen table in the mornings, to help the kids too. Might have to have a look around to see what's out there.
Bought a travel one years ago - a Go-Lite which is pretty good but very bright.
Thanks for your tips!

I think the wake-up lights are great for kids too, Lumie even do a cute kids version with cut-out stars and moons. And the lumie ones have a go to sleep option too, so you start with bright light and it slowly dims and turns off. Apparently great for putting kids to bed, and it works well on adults too :-)
