Following on from the resounding success of our first Meet the Grower evening in February we would like to invite you to join us on Friday April 3rd for our second Meet theGrower evening. This time we will be hosting not one but two growers... here at our Staveley Mill Yard shop from 6.30pm. Joining us are Slvyie Spielmann from her vineyard in the Alsace and Jean Claude Rateau also from France, but this time from Burgundy.
A superb opportunity to sample some of Slvyie's beautiful white wines such as Muscat, Pinot Blanc, Gewurztraminer and Rieslings. For the red wine lovers amongst you Jean Claude will be introducing you to his fabulous range of Premier Cru Pinot Noirs and also his elegant Chardonnays.
Both these vineyards use Bio-Dynamic principles and so we will also learn a little more of what this means and how it affects the wine and it's flavour.
