Catch an exclusive mix by Corderoy on the next edition of Sonic Maneuvers! 16:30-18:30 IST on Puresound.fm

Corderoy burst onto the club scene back in 2003 with global smash "Sweetest Dreams". Described by Guy Ornadel as "A great, emotive, hands in the air Vangelis trance track with excellent key programming. I've no dou...bt this will be MASSIVE at Passion, Gatecrasher & Godskitchen - it's a stormer!!"

After the track had built up a huge following, well known and established Dutch DJ / producer Ferry Corsten loved the track so much that he asked to remix it! He gave it his own unique style and anthem status, which received airplay on Kiss 100 and BBC Radio 1's Dance Anthems, which then lead onto major support from the likes of Paul van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Tiësto, Dave Pearce, Scott Bond, Matt Hardwick to name a few. Later, the record went on to get a full international release on Purple Eye Records.

Not being solely limited to the constraints of one style, Corderoy spends a great deal of time writing and producing in many varying styles, with numerous other aliases and co-productions.
Although heavily involved in writing and producing their own material, Corderoy still find time to turn their unique style into remixing other artist tracks such as Faithless, Judge Jules, Marc Et Claude, DT8 Project, Hemstock & Jennings and many many more.

After a string of remixes Corderoy followed up their record breaking first release with "Deeper" featuring the vocals of the ultra talented Kirstie Gorton. The track went on to gain huge support from all the big names. It even held off Eric Prydz's "Call On Me" and won Judge Jules' web chart winner as voted for by the public on Radio 1. Jules went on to support the record for an amazing 13 weeks on Radio 1 which is very rare for records in this day and age. The single got a full release on Made In England Records (sister label of Deep Blue Records) after being snapped up by label owners Solarstone and Gatecrasher's Scott Bond. Scott was already heavily playing Deeper in his DJ sets and global tours. He also went on to feature it on his 'Ahead' compilation along with international superstar ATB who also fell in love with the record and featured it on his 'DJ In The Mix' compilation series.

Following on from the immense success of "Deeper", Judge Jules played Corderoy's next single "Drifting" for 11 weeks on Radio 1, after which a bidding war broke out to sign it. During a crazy few weeks "Drifting" was finally snapped up by the internationally renowned UK label Mondo Records, home of many major artist including Angelic, Jurgen Vries, Darren Tate aka DT8 Project, JFK, Green Martian and The Young Punx. Mondo's previous releases had included the top 10 UK smash "The Sun Is Shining Down On Me" from DT8 Project (Darren Tate) plus numerous other massive underground club hits including 'Darren Tate vs. Jono Grant - Let The Light Shine In' and "Nocturnal Creatures"
Corderoy then went on to put out string of releases and remixes that have continued to take the music industry by storm, including the remix of Hemstock & Jennings' "LA2DC" which became an Ibiza anthem for both Judge Jules and Dave Pearce and was aired for over 14 weeks on Radio 1 between the pair. Dale also remixed the Maelstrom Records hit "Diversion" by Judge Jules which also gained weeks of support on Radio 1 and was also featured on the 'Judgement Sundays' official compilation.

In 2008, Corderoy began to push the boundaries even further, first with "Watching U" which was described by DJ Mag as "Stomp-heavy with maximum impact, this really does the business!!". They weren't wrong, the buzz around the record continued to grow out of control and was depicted as ground breaking for its diversity and refusal to sit or behave in a stereotypical genre. Airplay and support was received globally including heavy rotation on Radio 1 plus it was featured on the Ministry Of Sound's 'Delirium' compilation mixed by Dave Pearce.

A few months on and Corderoy released "Starline", which still receives international air plays today, DJ Mag said when hearing the record that "What Dale Corderoy doesn't know about tickling the trance enthusiast's melodic bone, probably couldn't even be written on a postage stamp". "Starline" also received top ratings across the board from many other notable publications and gained huge support from Dave Pearce (BBC Radio One), Above & Beyond, Darren Tate, Matt Darey (Nocturnal Radio) plus numerous other DJs and radio stations around the globe.
After the success of "Starline", Corderoy took a period to go back to remixing as the demand was high for his production skills. Southampton based duo U4IC DJs debut single entitled "Generation" with Steve Birch was presented and agreed. Giving it the true Corderoy treatment this too went on to gain colossal support from all the major players, including massive rotation on BBC Radio 1 from Judge Jules and Dave Pearce plus Above & Beyond and Tiësto. IDJ gave it full marks saying "The Corderoy remix is a full on party starter!!"

Now, heading into 2009, we see Corderoy advancing in production style and pushing the boundaries with genres. On the club circuit Corderoy's live and DJ performances have already created an immense buzz within the promoters circle and with clubbers alike. Subsequently tour dates are being booked all across the globe as he takes the distinctive sound on the road. Heading Mondo Records and with new productions and remixes arriving in 2009, Corderoy continues heavily stamp his unique mark in dance music and will continue to do so.
