They missed 3 crucial things. Read sci-fi, laugh a lot, and don't sweat the small stuff. It may all have been in there somewhere, couched in terms that sound more professional, but that's what it comes down to. Imagination, humor, and less stress over ridiculous things :) Good advice nobody ever takes: "Will this matter in 3 weeks? Will anyone ... See Moreremember it? Will even remember it?" If not? It's not worth stressing over. I also recommend falling in love, preferably with your spouse, over and over. Romance gives a zest to life :)
