Mary Moore Baldwin My studio was hired to take pictures for the new visitors guide for Pocahontas County and although we came from Lewisburg (just a short drive away), I was embarrassed that I hadn't seen some of the beautiful attractions. I couldn't believe what I'd been missing. Can't wait to take my family back!

Escapees from Team Ill Vision of San Francisco added some spice to their group jump by holding on to each other as they tumbled down the 876-foot drop from the New River Gorge Bridge to the water below during the 30th Bridge Day celebration.

Snow started falling on Friday 10/16 and continued into Sunday morning. About 1.5" accumulated at the top of the mountain. Snowmaking also started at midnight on Sunday.
