Jackie Harpist Jacqueline Pollauf (MM '07) premieres "Aria" (2009) by Peabody faculty member Judah Adashi, alongside other solo works by J.S. Bach, Andre Caplet, Eduardo Lopez-Chavarri, Sergiu Natra, R. Murray Schaefer, and Joaquin Turina. Jackie's duo, Pictures on Silence (with saxophonist Noah Getz), will perform works by A...stor Piazzolla and Christopher Pierce (MM '02). The concert marks the release of Jackie's debut CD, Bouquet. Judah The Evolution Contemporary Music Series presents "Across the Pond," an evening of music by English composers. Courtney Orlando will give the world premiere of Peabody faculty member Oscar Bettison's "Neolithic Airs" (2008). Peabody performers include pianists Timothy Hoft and Stefan Petrov, tenor Devin Mercer, cellist ...Rachel Hsieh and harpist Jacqueline Pollauf. Join us at 7pm for a pre-concert conversation with Bettison and Peabody musicologist Richard Giarusso. The concert will be followed by a wine reception with the artists. Tickets are $15/$10 students.
