    Hi everybody:)
    What else is needed in the LightShot?

    That's the simple question i'm asking you to hear your opinion about what do you really need. That's not a question to clouds, because we plan to release the new version and want it to be more useful for you. Thank you :)

      • Victor San Juan Brinck I think that the tools could move to the top, for example, when you need take a screenshoot of the bottom of your screen. Becouse now, this is impossible :)

      • LightShot To Matt Scully Blackman: yes, Matt, we'd be glad to create the version for Linux as well as for Mac, but currently we don't have resources for it. Hopefully we can do it soon. Thank you for the feedback:)

      • Umut Gultekin This is a must have: It should be possible to get the screen shot of a fixed positions of the screen every time a button gets pressed.

      • Anatoly Obyedkov As I told earlier it would be great to add some kind of comments on screenshots: arrows, boxes and text.

        Sure. Imagine a window on the screen, LightShot should be able to either capture only the contents of that particular window (not by selecting it on the screen, but selecting it among the processes that are running) or at least a fixed posi...tion of the screen every time a user presses a button to initiate the capture process. This is a much needed feature. Imagine a web project or a software that you need to take screenshots of. I can't use LightShot for this type of usage because its only selection type is selecting the area that is going to be captured on the screen every singly time.See More

      • Jace Sheppard Right-click from the LightShot icon in the System Tray. And/or an option to remove it from the System Tray. Maybe the option to save to my DropBox folder (without having to click Save).

        LightShot application is very great and useful, anyway, I have some some suggestions:
        1) add hotkeys like "Ctrl-F" (post to Facebook) and "Ctrl-T" (post to Twitter);
        2) Make it possible to take window and free form screensots;
        3) It would b...e great if some of online editor's features could be available offline, for example, highlighting, auto-shape (arrow, circle, box) adding.

        By the way, there are mistake in LightShot Desktop version, into About dialog - there is written "LighShot" not "LightShot". That's all, thank you. ;)
