well we got our costumes on got in the car sat in traffic for 45 minutes drove around for 10 minutes looking for parking then came home with a screaming 3 year old!

We got to see this last weekend. Watching the tigers play with pumpkins was awesome! They stalk them like prey, they take them away from each other, they play in the water with them ... go see! It's fun!

It's always a good idea to make it easier for foot traffic to get around on the outside of the zoo. It's been dicey walking and loose underfoot from various parking areas to the entrance.

Philadelphia Zoo Can we start looking for birth announcements? Our Orangutan couple is expecting their first baby. Hurray! Tua (16 years old) is the expecting mom and Sugi (13 years old) the proud father. The little one is due in October. Come see them in PECO Primate Reserve. Tua is starting to show!

I just watched a food channel show called 'Dinner Impossible" where the chef had to make dinner for 500 using all the food that the Philly Zoo used in it's Cat, Reptile, Bird & Primate diets....Everything looked wonderful except the cricket jello shots & lemonade/cricket popsickles..YUK! Way to go Philly Zoo - 1st in the U.S.A.
