Dahil ba project ni Marcos ititigil na iyan. Balita ko ang Food Terminal diyan sa Bicutan e up for sale na at a very bad price. NASAAN ANG CONTINUANCE SA POLITICS NATIN. Lahat ba ng projects ni Marcos masama.WE CAN NOT EVEN EXPORT OUR MANGOES
Romeo Salvador There is a local variety with the skin becoming pink-orange when mature. These are very sweet. And do you know of the small "chupaderas" - very sweet, small mangoes with very thin seeds. Kaagaw mo dito mga ibon - sweet talaga. And nice to make into chutney and buro.
Romeo Salvador Some folktales say that the Indian maharajahs coveted the sweetness of our apples, exchanging their fruits for our fruits - but they just donot grow to be as weet as our mangoes. The closest sweet mangoes in Indian subcontinent comparable to ours is called the "alfanso" variety.
