Exercise is good for everyone, including people with T1D. But if you have T1D, you have to be extra-conscious of what exercise may do to your blood sugar levels. The new issue of Countdown, JDRF’s online magazine, has a story called “Don’t Sweat It! Exercise and Type 1 Diabetes”, which provides advice on how to manage your blood sugar during physical activity and features the stories of real people with T1D and how they have made exercise a part of their daily lives.
