Had to wait for NASA to make it public which happened this morning. I was one of twelve artists whose work was chosen to be part of the first art show on Mars. Here you see a photo taken by Curiosity after it spent nearly a Martian day setting it up. That's my painting of the schooner Zodiac, which seems appropriate. Each of us has one hundred images selected by a distinguished jury of east coast art professionals, astronauts, congressmen, etc. The screen is a 42 inch hi res one-of-a-kind. Each artist will receive a special medal as well commemorating the occasion.
