    • Victor Malerba Hi Jeff! I really liked your studio! Really beautiful decoration! Could you explain a little about the acoustic treatment of the room? I see you have some absorber panels there, but what about those wood panels? Are they reflectors or bass traps? What kind of wood are they made of?
      I'm also a reader of your For Dummies books, which I think are wonderful! So I'm really happy to see you here on facebook...

    • Jeff Strong Hi Victor, the wood panels are bass traps. They are built on a curve so they diffuse the higher frequencies a bit. There are better ways to do this, but I've had them a long time and am used to how the room sounds. I'll probably change them out later this year with a different diffuser format.
