ANNOUNCING SOLO ART SHOW IN SEATTLE, OCT. 13!
“One Nation, Divisible Through Its Cartoon Iconography”
This image, which features a stylistic jumbling of Jack Kirby’s Captain America, along with Steve Ditko’s hysteria and Ghastly Graham Ingel’s eye-popping madness, is the center attraction of the poster for my upcoming solo show of comics-based art which will feature half a dozen, brand new, never-before-seen Cartoon Jumbles, along with many of my neo-expressive cartoon paintings, comics abstracts, and others, plus a few big surprises too. If you’re in Seattle’s Georgetown neighborhood the evening of Oct. 13, from 6-9, stop by the One Night Stand Gallery and have a look, and meet the artist too, as I’ll be in attendance. One Night Stand is right next door, and just above, the great Fantagraphics Bookstore, at 6004 12th Ave South, Suite 13A. Fantagraphics will be debuting their terrific-sounding show of original EC Horror Comics Art that same night! More on this event as the date draws nearer!
