Space Weather is currently at background levels. There are 10 sunspot regions on the visible disk but all are relatively stable and quiet. A few low level C-class solar flares were observed but this level is way below the NOAA alert threshold. Solar wind measurements, from the ACE spacecraft, remain nominal.
Attached is a composite image, thanks to our friends on the SDO/AIA projects. In this image, the active regions, as well as a filament channel can be seen around center disk.
SWPC forecasters are watching all of these regions and that filament channel as it rotates more into a possible geoeffective position.
