Look for a coming public research survey that will indicate that bartenders--the group most economically threatened by the bill--overwhelmingly SUPPORT the ban, not only because they have a healthier workplace but because they have seen eff...ectively NO decrease in their tips.

As for personal property rights, I hope folks with these concerns will address the Governor over his vastly expanded eminent domain power and his supplanting of local government with his own. And, as for personal freedom--there's no ban on smoking per se; the World Health Organization notes that tobacco is the only consumer product that, when used as directed, will kill 50% of its users. You can kill yourself--but you can't take me with you. Wanna smoke in a bar? Fine--don't exhale and stub it out before any unfiltered smoke comes off the tip.
