- Dylan Barros wtfs with everyone hating Coverdale? He was damn powerful, and he was a cool change for DP and remember that was his start to singing. And he can still sing today. Ian not so much. As Jack Black would say, Ian used up all his rocket sauce by the 80's. Coverdale has a huge bottle and its still going lol. Ian's a more skilled singer, but I liked Coverdale and Hughes better

- Glenn A. Olsen Purple mk4 made me a fan. "Keep om movin" is a masterpiece. Coverdales macho-calls fits Hughes silverthroat perfect on this one - and they almost seems to be friends too :) sad that the gifted youngsters tommy and glenn fucked it all up. Been a coverdale-fan since, he has a dimension in his voice that neihter Ian or glenn have, but true, he didnt reach his potential until -80...

- Matt DiMaio Loved Coverdale's voice. Burn is my 2nd fave album. He's a real good frontman! Never liked Hughes at all though. That screechy voice and his bass playing was too 'jazzy'. bleah
