Subject: My Song Three Rivers By Ken Dulin
Hi Clint Im A singer Songwriter ,Long ago In 1971 I put out a single called Dallas town ,flip side Three Rivers ,
I sent demmo tapes to Columbine and others in Nashvile. Many years latter im in my dads shop ,and i hear my song playin ,
so the hair stood up on the back of my neck ,,,,!~~~ I never said any thing before cause i didnt think it was regestered,
but it turns out that it was Bruce Clatman was my producer their in hollyweed back then and Martin Cohen was handeling the
contracts. Any how I think some one gave you a song that was blanttently and it is verry easy to tell that it was played and
the words were changed . and if and when you here it im sure youll agree .im sorry i had to say anything at all . and right now
i dont know the name of the song but i will find out and let you know ok. ps i wrote Movin on up but Jefferson got that tune It

I curious, as I can't understand some of your phrasing...are you saying Clint stole and recorded one of your songs?
Clint writes his own music, except for a very few which are cover tunes. That is a very serious accusation,
if that is what you are saying. What song are you saying is yours?

So, I'm still not understanding....you recorded a single called Three Rivers and in 95 you heard it playing on the radio
in your dad's garage? Do you mean you heard similar chords in a clint song? It wasn't Dallas Town...I'm confused.
I just need to know if you believe someone gave Clint your music to use...yes or no....and which song of Clint's sounds
like yours.
Thanks

I'll make it easy on you....here are the two albums that came out in 1989, so if the song you are talking about is from the 80's.
You may be able to search online to listen to them. Please do and then let me know which song. I just put the singles on here,
which may make the process easier.
All songs written by Clint Black and Hayden Nicholas except where noted.
Killin' Time Album 1989
1. "Straight from the Factory" – 2:18
2. "A Better Man" – 3:03
3. "Nobody's Home" (Black) – 3:29
4. "Walkin' Away" (Black, Nicholas, Dick Gay) – 2:47
7. "Nothing's News" (Black) – 3:02
9. "Killin' Time" – 2:48
10. "Live and Learn" (Black) – 3:14
Put Yourself in My Shoes Album 1989
1. "Put Yourself in My Shoes" (Black, Nicholas, Shake Russell) – 3:15
3. "One More Payment" (Black, Nicholas, Russell) – 2:16
4. "Where Are You Now" – 3:09
6. "This Nightlife" – 3:08
7. "Loving Blind" (Black) – 3:57
And I'm assuming that by Columbine, you mean Columbia Records? Clint has never been on Columbia,
so how would he have gotten music from them?

I listened to your song and I don't hear it. You have three notes that are similar, but since you need 8 bars to
claim the song was stolen, you aren't even close. I have forwarded this information to management in hopes they can straighten
this out with you so will will stop saying you wrote a Clint Black song. Thanks for the info. Sorry, you didn't write the music
to Better Man.
