I would guess that the younger demographic is here primarily because of PG's great work as a film composer. But who knows, maybe lots of college kids are grooving to Akhnaten.

Wichita Vortex Sutra just destroys me. It's one of the most emotionally beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard.

I would had expected a higher number at an older age, but am happy to see that the bell curve is where it is at. I guess the younger generation is more plugged in than the older. Probably doing that soul searching that 20somethings muddle through. Einstien on the Beach..."...two lovers, sitting on a park bench.."

I agree with Dan Webb there. His music, in the little time I've listened to it has really just filled me with wonder. Its like I'm discovering something whenever I listen to it. I think that really appeals to youth.

..."...two lovers, sitting on a park bench.." I just figured out that this is from a Laurie Anderson album and for some reason I was thinking it came from PG. Learn something new everyday or at least something you forgot:)

PG's Einstein on the Beach was 1976 and L Anderson's first Album was 1982. What exactly are you saying?

Well that makes since that both did it. I had recently broke out the cassette tapes and CD's, remembering the old times and thinking about making some new one's. Getting caught up in family and career, all hobbies were put on hold. The other night I saw on PBS a show on Phillip that in turn made me research Facebook.....The great thing about ... See Moremusic/art is that it is timeless, priceless, and it does not matter if you are 13 or 97. Like may things we need to be good stewards and let the people in our sphere's know about his contibutions to society.

Unless it is from a very recent album there is no reference to the Knee Play in Einstein on any L Anderson album that I can recall

That was Songs From Liquid Days 1986. David Byrne, Suzanne Vega and Paul Simon wrote songs for that one too. It was a cool album.

Laurie Anderson also does voiceover monologues on PG's "The CIVIL warS" CD and it is totally awesome!
