Did you know that San Rafael has a sister city?

San Rafael's sister city is located in Falkirk, Scotland. Robert Dollar, the second owner of the mansion, was born in Falkirk, Scotland and throughout his life continued to contribute to the community for many years. He donated an 11 acre estate to the City to serve as a park, a set of chimes for the Presbyterian church and a fountain for the town center. Also also donated $1,000 to Falkirk to buy books for a library.
