they're cute when they're small...just wait until they learn how to howl...woke me up every morning at 5 sounding like they were at the end of my bed and were a km away.

"Tica" ???? : ) Not too many understand what that is! SUX FOR THEM!!!!!! LOVE the monkeys even though they attacked me & stole my food!!!!!

On our trip to Costa Rica a few years ago the Howler monkeys were definitely one of the major highlights. But be careful about standing under them - my husband got . . . "splattered".

We're going in March...I'm so looking forward to seeing them. I wondered if they would try to steal your food and stuff. They must be strong. So, no eating while viewing them, yes?? LOL

~~~When I visited Costa Rica about 3 years ago, I thought I died and went to HEAVEN! Such a beautiful place, the people are so kind/welcoming & the food...SO SO GOOD! I recommend every person visit this place at least once in their life time. IT IS JUST MIND BLOWING!!!!! I know that I came back a different person. I WILL BE BACK!!! PURA VIDA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spent a month this year. It was amazing but for all the monkeys we saw and howlers we heard, we never saw a howler . Cute little thing!!

And if you don't mind me asking...what was your favorite thing about Costa Rica? Me, I have a list of favorite things, but I have to admit that I fell in love with the people of Costa Rica. So very welcoming & loving. I can't wait to go back, that country truly got a hold of my heart.

I spent two weeks in Costa Rica this summer and it was the best trip of my life... We saw a lot of howler monkey near the Arenal! We were alone in the jungle and we heard that things !!

The Arenal Volcano region has a good sampling of Costa Rica. Ask for Javier from Pura Vida tours...he's the BEST!!!
