Lisa... what you said was very inspiring in "The Secret" documentary. I actually created a poem called "Mirror Mirror" which is dedicated to my beautiful daughter and other Black girls to let them know that they are phenomenal just as they are; that they validate themselves -- not someone else. I hope to meet you one day at one of my girl-empowerment events.
