What are the sheets on the podium for, by the way? I know they have questions, but is there any specific manner in which they are arranged?

Golly, I'd have to check with Matt to be sure, but since this was taken right before the game began. I suspect they are arranged in the order that he would be working with them. jc

Matt here. The different types of questions are color coded, but still in separate piles. The tossups and bonuses sit side by side on the lower level because they're the ones I use the most. On the upper left are the special rounds in the order that we play them. I can tell the one in the picture is a Pop Quiz. (Four sets of three questions, plus a thirteenth "backup" question in case of a problem.)

In the middle in this shot, below the monitor and where the toss-up questions usually go, is the information sheet about that particular game with all the players' names, the airdates and other useful information for me. In the lower left you can see about half of my reset button, the thing that clears the lights after a toss-up. There's another one on the judge's table in case I forget.

The shelf on the upper right doesn't get used much, but might be where I put an important note to myself on an index card. ("Don't forget to mention the Facebook site!") Used material gets shoved onto a shelf underneath, which is also where we store the gifts for the players and other production stuff. My podium is jokingly called "the condo" because there's so much space to put stuff.... See More

And yeah, that's a neat photo. One of my favorites. I think that's my best side.
