Peter made a choice based on where he feels God is leading him to go right now, Connor, so instead of pining for the past, enjoy the future! Michael Tate is great and he sounds good singing with the rest of the guys! Loving the new song, you guys! Glorious!!

We all love Peter, but I must admit that the Newsboys show the other day in Colorado Springs was one of the best I have ever seen! Michael Tait, it's great to see you back on the road!

I ♥ Peter, but have seen nb 3 times since June and Tait has been better each time. So much so that my bestie and I are hitting 6 concerts on the winter jam tour. Don't judge til ya see him.

And you know what? As much crazy dancing/crawling on stage he does, he can eat as many cheezits as he wants and not gain an ounce. Seen that tons of sweat fly off his braids too many times now to doubt that he's putting it all into the show. ick. lol.

The newsboys themselves believe that this whole change is orchestrated by God and that the best is yet to come...and as Duncan says 95% of nb fans are on board with the changes but the 5% seem to be the most vocal. Lol.

Don't knock Conner for having his opinion. Yes, Tait is also a talent artist but he doesn't have an australian accent which can make a big difference in how the band sounds. So there is nothing wrong with wanting Peter to sing. I always loved his sound which is part of what I loved about the Newsboys.

I'm soooo looking forward to the new album!!

Peter's accent was a nice newsboys element. But what I miss is the performance by the guy who wrote it. It was his words, his voice, his conviction that led us to a deeper place with the Lord. We could sing with him, and cry too. That quality is missing right now. I have seen MT, he is putting his all into the shows. It's just different. I would hate to see newsboys disappear, so I am still trying...
