Recipients of the 2010 Bill & Mary Russel Scholarship were presented with their award checks at a dinner hosted by the Voiture 130 of the 40 & 8 last night. A joint venture of Heartland Foundation and the 40 & 8, this scholarship fund was established to provide financial assistance for individuals pursuing education opportunities toward a career in nursing or a health care realted field. This year, 9 students received the Bill & Mary Russell Scholarship, with 2 additional awards sponsored by the 40 & 8.
