How about just ONE "Long, Hot Summer" for Alaska? Is that too much to ask? Paul Newman is fantastic as con man Ben Quick, who drifts into a small Mississippi town and quickly ingratiates himself into the town's wealthiest family. Orson Welles and Joanne Woodward costar in this excellent adaptation of William Faulkner's novel.
