One year later!


A year ago the Schliersee Project started in Germany with our first 13 Fellows from 10 different countries, their Friend Markus Wasmeier and many, many other people who made it all happen! We hope you are all doing well! If you like share your favorite moment or photo with us here and let us know how you are!

      Time is a state of mind.One year's like last week in my mind;our Schliersee moments conditions my heart to believe we are still together.I can still feel my muscles stretch as I "rock-climb" for the 1st time.I can still summon the taste of ...German bread in my mouth...I picture my room and can hear the rush of water as the creek flows beside our house.I see fellows hurrying to go use the washin' machine...two coins in their pocket :) I see Andres running to catch the bobilicious BOB train...Darcy's standin' on the door to make sure it does not close againt him.That 1st day at the Musuem...Bobby,Markus,etc welcome us...the tour begins.All I want to do is sit back and let my mind go thru every minute we shared..I LOVE U ALL!!See More

      Recently When I got to my apartment, I picked up the Album that Giti sent as Xmas gift and I begin to feel tears in my eyes. I had a wonderful time..nay..more than wonderful, the peace, the connection and the friendship..all put together i...n the lives of each and every fellow..My roommate stuffing me up with chocolate and gaining more wait than I can ever imagine...sulava loving her "baba" more than ever..Darcy receiving a xmas gift under the tree..myself cutting a Real christmas tree for the 1st time..

      I will never forget. I hope too bring to children to visit one day, telling them the friendship that was formed, sustained and nurtured in Schilersee.

      Guys, I am in Austria right now.. learning how to build with Mud and guess who i met?? Remember we had a lecture by a professor from Munich University of Technology.. or seomthing like that? Jees..we were shocked and glad ofcourse! If thing...s go as planned, i might visit the Wassmiers, Denis and Naomi, next weekend.. M keeping my fingers crossed! Its funny i am reveving the little german i knew once again.. Once again.. Danke, Bitte, Ja Genau, Litunse wasser, Radler, Apple shaft..and learning more..I miss you guys soooo sooo much..
