    • Emily Murphy Pottery Susan, The dots are all hand slip trailed. It's all pretty obsessive work- but I'm really enjoying it.

      Amanda, My tumblers are usually about 1.25 lbs, but since these are porcelain, I made them a little bigger since they'll shrink more. So they're about 1.5 lbs.

    • Emily Murphy Pottery There's always one that is a little taller and one that's a little shorter from a set.
      I don't know if it's my secret, but I don't stress over measurements. I just try to keep the movements simple, and only use a couple of tools.
      And of course, lots of practice.
