Hola!!! We're still at the airport waiting for our flight from Madrid to Lisbon. Since we have tonight and tomorrow free, send in your suggestions for things to do in Lisbon. The one we like the most will receive a pair of tickets to our show at Lux on Tuesday.

For our Catalonian readers, I've attached an interview from the Diari de Girona. (Gracias Marta). Amos x

If it is too hot go to the Botanical Garden of the University of Lisbon (R. da Escola Politécnica), which is a small paradise in the city centre (and where I work :) ) and then go to Bairro Alto, which is nearby. In between stop by a kiosk ...in Principe Real for a drink and go to see the views at Miradouro São Pedro de Alcântara. After Bairro Alto (which you can also visit at night because it is where most bars are located), take the tram number 28 at Camões (also nearbyr the Miradouro São Pedro de Alcântara and Bairro Alto) and enjoy the ride up to at least Miradouro de Santa Luzia and Portas do Sol. From here you can go to the Castle (Castelo de São Jorge). Enjoy your time in Lisbon!See More

This night it should be a bit on the edge but at 9p.m. theres the Festival Cantabile at MUDE - Design Museum in Lisbon with free entrance

There´s not much at Sunday and monday...

You could try out some "terrace mood by night" at Sky bar i...n Tivoli Hotel, in Av. Liberdade or a more public appearance at sightseeing Adamastor and probably you could jam some music with young people there, or check the Noobai Bar there

Whatever you do, you´ll enjoy for sure

Love your work but i couldn´t bought the tickets...
      Sorry
      Nice staying and gig

      Here's what I'd do:
Walk the Baixa streets in the morning, then to CCB (Centro Cultural de Belém), the view from the café is great.
Then on to The Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga or the Gulbenkian: both have wonderful gardens and good cafeter...ias.
I Would take a nap then, but you can skip that.
On to Rua do Alecrim for some awesome antiquarian bookshops.
Up to Bairro Alto for dinner and then take your pick and enjoy yourselves!
(Make note to self:you must find some time to go and try those Pastéis de Belém!)
Hope you become addicted to us. Have a great gig:)

If you give me the ticket to the concert i gladly take and offer you a box of them. But you should visit or "pass" by the Belêm district. Historic monuments.

    • Judson Abts Bairro Alta—just stroll around. The downtown is small and friendly. Love it there. Head up to the castle at some point. If you wanted to go crazy you could head to Sintra—one of the most beautiful places in the world, about a half day trip to get to, hike, walk around etc and get back. Totally amazing.

Since you got some time, my first thought would be: come to Porto for a surprise gig!!!!:)
Otherwise,Lisbon: get lost in the tangled downtown streets, look up and down and everywhere around for some details in the fassades, buy a tarnation,... hear some Fado (Amália Rodrigues preferebly), feel the bustle of Bairro Alto and watch the sunrise from a city hill or by the silvery (river) Tejo.
Thanks for your music, hope our country provides you a little bit of good time in return. Enjoy!!!!!

Catch a ferry to Alfama (20 mins) and stroll along the docks directly opposite the city taking in the ambience of graffiti and derelict buildings. At the end of the docks you'll discover a waters-edge restaurant at the foot of the elevator ...that takes you up to Christo Rei statue. Enjoy vino verde (or Caipirinha's!) and fresh seafood while watching the sun setting behind 25 April Bridge. Great way to end another fabulous day in Lisbon. Enjoy! Sorry I won't be joining you at Lux but I loved your Splendour set at Woodfordia - THANKS xxx See More

autch, i think i'm late: 1 - take the tram nº 28 (aware of pick-pockets) go up to the castle and then get lost in moorish Alfama and have a sardine there, portuguese say you shouldn't have some in September, but still eatable, 2 - Go to the... flea market tomorrow "Thieve's Market" (Feira da Ladra in São Vicente District, is thought to have been in place in Lisbon since the 12th Century), it's close to alfama; 3 - get the "cacilheiro boat" to the other river side "Cacilhas" explore and have lunch or something at "ponto final" enjoy the view from this side; 4 - Drink "Ginginha and eat a "Pastel de Belem" 5- Take at least 1 Cablecar (Bica is the smaler one!); 6-have a drink in Bairro alto; 7- Go to trumps or finalmente tonight to see world's best Travesti shows! 8- Go to silk bar (if you need to get on Guest list, gimme a call!!! :) ) go to belvedere ""Senhora do monte"!!!", 9 - Go to the Coast Estoril/Sintra and go to Beach Azenhas do mar, and have the best Fish at the same named restaurant (insider tip)...so many things you have to come back ...See More
