"The Bowman Body" played by Bill Bowman began his hosting career on Richmond's Shock Theater on channel 8 ("THE BIIIIG 8") from 1970-1975. He recreated the same character on Charlottesvilles channel 29 in Cobweb Theater and then on 56 in Fairfax in Monsterpiece Theater.
