Congratulations to EMSL's Don Baer! Don was honored for his contributions to international surface analysis standards at an ASTM meeting before AVS 2009. An expert in surface analysis, Don chaired Committee E42 on Surface Analysis from 2004 to 2009. He was presented a plaque by Joe Geller, current vice-chair on the committee.
