Hafnium oxide charges into the spotlight! This oxide holds the potential for next-generation metal-oxide-semiconductor technologies. Work to optimize conditions for growing the oxide on nanolayers of silicon by EMSL's Mark Englehard and Shuttha Shutthanandan as well as their University of Texas at El Paso collaborators was presented at AVS today.
