Dawn Sheppard I would like to make a photobook using photos from a friends facebook page. When I tried to create one on my mac, I rec'd a resolution warning since the pics on fb are compressed and have such a low resolution. I have about 60 pics and even if they cannot be larger than 4x6, would possibly be interested in more info.

Hi Dawn, photos posted on facebook have reduced resolution and are not suitable for doing photobook. Perhaps, we wish to suggest that you request a CD containing the original photos.

Eva Can you please tell me how close a figure can be to the centre of the book in a fit to page image before it will disappear within the binding....If a figure stays within the boundaries of the red line on the software will I be able to see it once printed?

Hi Eva, the image area from the spine that will dissapear is around 0.6 cm from the binding. You should use the shadow marking as a gauge. Try not to position any important part of the image in those areas.

Hi Shirley, Photobook Designer do not have themes but there is auto flow; you can use the auto flow and add some backgrounds later.

1 how long will it takes?
I was wondering if you have any printing that is different from what you offer in the website. I am looking for something that can be opened as flat pages, meaning seamless in the centre so if I have a picture spread over 2 pages, th...e centre of the picture can still be seen. Is that possible and what will the cost be ?

Hi Rose, thank you for kind interest. All our hardcover photobooks are side stitched for better binding strength. Therefore, they will not open as a layflat spread. However, you are still able to add a picture to spread over 2 pages but have to make sure that important figures are positioned away from the middle. Hope that helps, regards.
