whilst i have every sympathy for the mother of Jamie Jane and my heart goes out to anyone who has lost in the war, but having a moan at Gordon Brown about the letter is just awful, yes maybe he has a problem with writing, but he did bother, deep down all i think she really wanted to do is vent her anger about his death..., she is right, but i am angry at using the letter with spelling mistakes as bate as i am a person who has problems with writing, and that was truly wrong, he may be in power, but he does not have to be made a fool of because of this !!Read More

Please could you mention Beth Penrose who narrowly missed out on the Judges vote at the Bristol regional finals for OpenMic, (which was held on the 31st Oct), she still has an opportunity to get through to the National final with the 'wildcard vote'!
Beth is currently joint 5th out of all the southern ...regions, (...which is out of about 90-100 people) The voting ends on Wed the 11th November at Noon. ( tomorrow!) Beth's birthday is on the 12th, so it would be an amazing birthday present if we could get her through!! Beth is the ONLY representative for Cornwall in this competition, so it would be fantastic to get the county backing her. There are two places available, with enough votes i'm sure we could get Beth into the top two... Text voting details are: TEXT - wildcard388 to 84222. Texts cost £1.
