Aimee, if and when this drug is approved by the FDA to be used as a PKD treatment, your doctor will be the one to decide which drug, if any, is the proper one for you. Let's hope that ther will soon be several drugs that can e used to treat PKD.

We have contacted Chase Community Giving about the status of our eligibility application three times, with no response.
One of the eligibility requirements is that the organization has a budget of less than $10million according to information CCG processes directly from Guidestar.org. Our most recent financial information Guidestar has published ... See Moreindicates that our budget exceeds that.
That is the only semi-rational conclusion we can deduce for not being an eligible organization. If our status changes, we will notify everyone immediately.

It still amazes me how so many people still have never heard of PKD. Thank God for all the work the PKD Foundation and others do to raise awareness of this disease.

I have dealt with PKD in my family for 20 years, and the only reason I even heard of PKD Foundation was from a commercial for the Walk in Seattle. I think PKD Foundation needs a lot more television exposure, commercials, etc., to bring out the awareness to America.
