“To speak, then, of a ‘Poetry of the Americas’ is, to a certain extent, to speak of a poetry of centrality.” Writes Brazilian poet and editor Régis Bonvicino. On Wednesday, October 14, Bonvicino will explore this notion with Charles Bernstein, one of the “fathers” of L=A=N=G=U=A=G=E poetry, in a discussion of contemporary Brazilian poetry and translation.
