The officers will still have personal contact and still will need to do their jobs now they will have evidence of their actions. it is sad that this is what it comes to. Michael Harmless idea but it certainly spikes my concern with integrity issues within any department who decides to adopt this costly device. It's like squashing police officers into non-thinking androids. If you have an input, trash this"head mounted camera" and get the barriers out of the way to let people do the things they... do well. This is a defence attorney's dream come true, and I smell the words "Loop holes" constantly setting bad guys free. NO WAY!
Sara Andrada I am all for cameras to insure not only the safety of officers but the comfort it will bring knowing that with cameras there will be no more false accusations against officers. I am all for the guns that have cameras on them also. We did a report for our futures class about this technology and though its expensive at first it saves money by keeping law suits down.
