Are there any web sites or job "boards" that are looking for individuals with medical backgrounds (whether human or veterinary)? It seems that one has to know what businesses are in the industry to try to find out if they have positions open vs. just a "generic" place to start looking.

HI Sarah,
I did a quick Google search on "medical job boards" and found this About.com article that lists several:

http://healthcareers.about.com/od/professionalresources/tp/Healthcare-Job-Boards.htm
... Read More
However, I think you can achieve similar results by using a job search engine:
-- If you're a Pongo subscriber, use the Pongo job search tool.
-- If not, try Indeed.com or SimplyHired.com.
-- For hourly jobs, try SnagaJob.com.

For all of these, you type in keywords that would likely be in the job title or description for the kinds of jobs you seek, indicate your geographic area, and it will search ALL the job boards for matching postings.

Also try LinkUp.com, which searches company web sites for current job postings, which may or may not be on the other boards.

Best of luck!!!
