As a member of VEDA's Board of Directors, I am excited to be a part of this "Double Your Donation" Challenge. Personally, I found VEDA in 1996 when I really needed information and support. If VEDA has touched your life, please consider making a donation when it will count twice as much!

I have been a member for a couple of years and it was a blessing to find this organization. I thought my doctor was crazy and she first told me I had "little stones floating in my inner ear" I now realize after the beginning of my 2nd year with VEDA that she was right I have BPPVD Some disorder I think it is a disease. It could be worse tho.

I have gotten lots of good information from the association. Considering my one doctor told me I was having an allergic reaction to the flu shot and my ear ringing, falling down, and diziness would be cleared up if I did not get any more shots. Well, that did not happen. If any thing it got worse.

Rebecca Chilcott

Rebecca Chilcott Vestibular Disorders Association (VEDA): HI my name is Rebecca and have been suffering with uncompensated labs for 2 and a half years. I am finally getting better thanks to a tailored VRT program designed by Dr Pavlou at Queen's square. I made a video for the NHS about the condition because I had so little help from my GP and ENT so I struggled on my own for ...a long time.

HI Annie
Sorry it has taken so long to reply. I have been struck by a horrible tummy bug making me extremely sick and making the dizzies so much worse. You will probably be one of the lucky ones whose symptoms gradually disappear over a few months. If not then you need to find a neuro-otologist near you who can diagnose you and refer you for VRT. VRT is the only thing that has helped me progress but you may not need to do it, you may get better over the next couple of months.XX
