Edinburgh is being flogged off to Royal Bank of Scotland....The Fringe staff 'manage' a 'performance area' sponsored by the bank who want to charge performers both international and local rent for land which belongs to the citizens of Edinburgh.....Common Good Land!
Now they have their eye on the Mound ...the last refug...e of real street, which includes Speakers corner....the citizens identified area of common good land where we can exercise our right to free speach...where rallys and rights have been upermost for centuarys.
Help us save Edinburgh from this commercialisation of our common good and support the heritage of Edinburgh as a home to the arts, creativity and enlightenment! Say no to the Fringe fees and 'management' on the mound.
