South Africa gap year, loads of gap year projects for your gap year travel to South Africa.

Oyster Worldwide
Dear Chloe,
Its great to hear that you are interested in doing the farm work Outback trip. The trip actually gives you a lot for your money, you get all of your accommodation sorted out and paid for whilst you are in Brisbane, Rainbow Beach at the training farm and whilst you are in your job. You also have your food inc...luded while you are at the training farm and on your job which will all be homecooked on the homestead. You will have your travel costs included to the beach and to the training farm and you will also be met at the airport and taken to your hostel where you meet up with the rest of your group.
The biggest part of what you are paying for, is the week long training course where you will be having first rate tuition on how to work on a farm in the Outback. You will be learning how to ride horses and motorbikes, how to do fencing work, how to use a chainsaw, how to work with cattle, how to drive a tractor etc. People have given us very good feedback on this course and they really enjoy it. As part of the course, our partners can then find you work after the course if you would like it. They also open a bank account for you, organise your tax file number, set up your healthcare medicare card and can arrange a phone SIM card for you if you wanted one. We also give you all the information that you need before you get out to Australia and help you organise your flights, insurance and visa.
However the farmwork is not for everyone, it is very physical work, and you will be outside in the hot sun for a long time. You have to like working with animals outdoors and be prepared for the fact that the jobs will not be vey glamourous.
We do have trips to work in Sydney which are cheaper at £795 and more comfortable but obviously the work is very different, it will be typical city work in bars, restaurants, shops or offices in the beautiful city that is Sydney. There are full details on both of the trips on our website: www.oysterworldwide.com or please do feel free to call us on 01892 770771 to talk about the different trips.
Thanks,
Emma.

Oyster Worldwide:
Hey guys, I returned from a fantastic four months in Nepal and I believe I owe Oyster a lot for their support and friendliness as well as of course ensuring I had a great representative, family and school in which to teach. My experience with Oyster was excellent from the interview to the flight home, everything was de...alt with treating myself and the others as people, rather than numbers!
I have been writing articles online which you may be interesting, regarding safe travelling and also advice on chooses good hostels if you choose to travel after or during your Oyster placement. At the moment I am in the process of writing a blog/ advice for future volunteers about my time living with a family in Nepal and what you can gain from it. I will post the link on here when it is complete.
Here are the links to two of my articles which are already complete, I'd much appreciate any feedback you can give me!
