I was there the year Wayne was inducted. There was a huge display of everything Wayne...... I don't think Wayne would miss the opportunity to be there with former teammates.

I just got back from seeing Wayne outside the HHOF tonight!!! He has a little limp!!! :( So exciting though - I went after work to see if I could get a couple of Yzerman pics for my boyfriend (who had to work and couldn't make it). Must buy tickets next year!!

Hey Wayne...saw you in the Montreal Fourm bus loading area after playing Montreal....will remember that forever..really pissed at the NHL on how they handed your last play.....but for us kids... will remember something..like the CBC bio....like it was :) !

Wayne, you spent countless hours on your back yard rink...year after year...didn't know enough to come in out of the cold...not only has it paid off for you...but all the Gretzky's to follow for years to come...Wayne The Greatzky.

At the end of the day, Gretz understood that it's the HOCKEY Hall of Fame and not NHL Hall of Fame and this week's events are bigger than both him and the league. as a rangers fan and hockey fan, my respect for moose is right up there with 99. loved their reunion in '97 and wished they had played together longer in NY.
