Brad Miller “This legislation will allow lenders to make an honest living and make credit available to consumers who need it, but it will not allow lenders to make a killing by taking advantage of consumers,” said Rep. Miller. “The difference between an honest living and a killing would be an enormous savings to consumers.”

Thanks for your vote Brad. It's time that people realize that because of our lack of personal responsibility our Country is where it is. We want everything and don't want to pay for anything! Put your trust in the rich taking personal responsibility and the only thing they'll take is your money. To hell with healthcare, the roads, the bridges, education….lean right and g.ive everyone a tax cut so we can add a TV or an SUV…. Sooner rather than later will all need to pay.

did you see that former head of the CDC Julie Gerberding accepted a position heading up the Merck Vaccines Division? How do you like that for a revolving door? The CDC was terribly compromised and corrupted during Bushtime

Wall Street Journal, today-US Preventative (sick) Services Task Force recommends physicians "abstain from teaching women how to examine their breasts for signs of cancer". Then they say no mammograms under 50, as "the benefit is small". Tell that to the younger mothers and women whose lives were saved by just these things! It taks 1900 women of ... See Morethat age to be screened to prevent one death. Gee, not cost effective, is it? I guess they mean not DOLLAR effective, for the insurance companies. The women whose deaths are prevented fell it is effective, and so do their friends. It's not like the screening or self-exams are dangerous, so why the recommendation? I think some big money is behind this. Without the self-exam, I wouldn't have found my own cancer, at the age of 43, or it would have been even later, and I might not, okay, WOULD not be here. My 8 year old twins would have been without a mom. What is the motivation for any agency to recommend against teaching self exams-those don't cost money. I don't get it. There are so many younger women whose lives have been saved by the exams, and the mammograms. The ONLY reason to come out with this kind of "guideline" is $$$$. SHAME ON YOU!

I am self-employed. I started consulting 10 years ago and paid less than $200/month for *good* insurance. Now I pay over $800/month for AWFUL insurance. I would like to be able to join a large group of people and purchase good coverage at a reasonable price. So far, a "public option" seems the best way to do that. If congress can come up with a ... See Moreplan that gets me better care at lower cost, feel free to raise my taxes! If I could buy into Medicare A&B (<$600/month at current rates) that would be better than what I have now. Hey, my taxes could go up over $200/month before it would make a difference in my finances. I live in Person County. In District 13. Please vote for reform.
