Mr. Frankin, as a freshman Senator, is doing exactly what he should be doing. Sitting on committees and learning his way around. He is not there to entertain us. His ability to create humor shows his inate intelligence. He should not be trying to be legendary as soon as he steps on the Senate floor.

We must have the public option, Senator Franken. Otherwise, it is similar to the bailout of the banks. The health insurance companies will gain hundreds of thousands of new policies. We must offer competition to them, or none of our problems will have been solved. We must also eliminate prior conditions as a block to insurance. Thank you for your support of these issues.
