Joan, consider the lapband surgery, there is less risk than the bypass.. do your research!! It is a gradual relearning process with lapband, the band ( if you listen) stops me from overeating. It doesn't work on sugar :) so you have to control that yourself.

That is so true. I find myself being a "slider." I can eat all the sweets and chips very easily that i want. I really have to watch that. Meat and more solid food is still a struggle at times. Lap band rocks.
