Lou Dobbs, the most opinionated and divisive anchor at a cable network that bills itself as a straight-news oasis, resigned from CNN on Wednesday night, saying in his final broadcast that he wants "to go beyond the role" of a television journalist in tackling the country's problems.

So you don't like to hear alternate points of view? I don't listen to C.N.N. and have never watched Lou Dobbs it is more due to the fact that CNN is a liberal biased fringe media out let.

Happy to see Dobbs depart CNN. While I agree with some of his points of view (such as the war on the middle class) on others he had become nothing but a shrill shill in my opinion. I am sure this is not the last we will here from the Esteemed Mr. Dobbs.

The National Labor Committee (NLC) published a report Tuesday bashing Walmart's sick leave policy, which they said "gives workers demerits and deducts pay for staying home when they are sick or to care for a sick child."

Wal-Mart's policy is wrong. To me, it is in-humane(if that is a word). We have to do something, stand on principle.

United Food and Commercial Workers International Union Make your voice heard! CNN is going to discuss the bill Congressman George Miller has introduced: an H1N1 flu emergency sick leave bill which would grant five days of sick leave a year if an employer directs a sick worker to stay home or go home, and would apply to companies like Walmart with 15 or more employees that ...don't provide that amount of sick leave. Leave your comments about why we need this bill here, and they may be read on the air.

It would apply to companies with 15 or more employees that do not already provide that amount of sick leave. Part-time workers would also be eligible on a prorated basis. The emergency law would sunset after 2 years. But businesses would have to foot the bill.
