Sonic WAS good. The past 9 years however, Sonic team has churned out nothing but trash. You'd figure since Sega stopped making hardware they'd be able to focus primarily on making good games. Sadly, that hasn't been the case.

Sonic's definitely my favorite video game character but he's fallen quite far from where he used to be. Stop adding lame new characters and fix the gameplay with a story that doesn't make me want to turn my system off.

sonic used to kick ass, you are right andre. but now he sucks dr robotniks PINGAS every day of his life, while you play as his mutated half dead clone ZONIC in games like Sonic and the secret rings, and sonic unleashed. SEGA CHANGED THE Z TO AN S SO THAT YOU THINK ITS A _REAL_ sonic game. and, robotnik is bisexual. dont ask why, but he has a thing for pingas, and PUSHY and ****.

you know the latest sonic game I played (that wasn't with mario) was sonic heros and I thought that was really really lame game the best sonic game is sonic adventure battle 2.

no, sonic should get ran over by a car, be shot multiple times, and have his body thrown off a cliff. he does not deserve any awards. I used to love sonic, sonic adventure 2 battle, and the dreamcasts Sonic adventure 2 were amazing. and everything before that was just great. but you know what? I hate sonic now. his games suck balls, and sega has ... See Moreused him as a way to make money making absolute shit, with good graphics as a way to make people buy it. the gameplay sucks balls now. and sonic unleashed was PARTICULARLY horrible. Sega, if you want to stay alive, and dont want nintendo to cause you to go completely insane by owning you in every possible way. I WOULD HIGHLY RECCOMEND MAKING one of these 3 things. Sonic adventure 3, sonic 3 and knuckles HD/super enhanced/3d version or a new 2d sonic game for the wii, in the old style, instead of the crappy sonic rush style(the game was ok, but the music sucked.)
