Tomorrow, I will be named Alumnus of the Year by UCLA. I’m pretty excited about it. There’s something very special about receiving a major honor from one’s Alma Mater.

I know Rachel Madow is a partisan on the left and the person she interviews here is an Obama supporter, but what I heard troubles me and I ask you to view this video objectively and offer your comments.

What I admire about Michael Josephson is that his beliefs can apply to everyone regardless of religion, gender, ethnicity, politics etc. I wouldn't define him as being on the right or the left but rather as one who is fair.

The thing that amazes me is that the start of this "story" has 2 comments about the government taking control of another piece of American's freedom. But 99% of the story is not about the truth (or not) behind the comments but made up hate rhetoric. Notice how she does not speak about the actual Biblical passage, but the one AFTER the one hoping ... See MorePresident Obama's days IN OFFICE are numbered. These commentators are not missing the point -- they are distracting people from the point. The more fantastic and outrageous they can make their claims, the more people scream how hate filled one side or the other is and take the attention off the facts and realities -- that this government is doing more to take over aspects of our lives that they have no right to do. I am all for thoughtful, helpful change - but rammed through, middle of the night change is not what I signed up for.
