The Clangers have landed...
In case you don't know, or have forgotten, the Clangers were shown on the BBC between 1969 and 1972. The loveable, knitted family of stop-motion characters resembled anteaters dressed as Gladiators and made their home in a moon-like planet. They were experts in recycling all manner of useful... materials - particularly bin lids, which served as protection against meteorites! They also have a couple of celebrity supporters including Stephen Fry and Nick Park from Ardman animation.
