I like Kristins idea. I wonder if anyone has done a pollution evaluation of summer traffic vs. winter traffic. With the new sled engine technology, I'm betting the summer would be WAY worse.

The OHV community is saddened by the decision of the forest service to close Tellico to OHV access, while they still maintain access to logging. SFWDA has commited thousands of man hours to maintaining trails in the past and the forest service through this partnership out the window in their decision.

Unbelievably bad news to families, enthusiasts, and others who want to recreate on public land.

I'm sick about this. Badly wanted to visit the area some day.

Some of the people in charge of the Forest Service, are not our friend's,but environmental wacko's,who are for closing all our public land's,under the false claim of protecting something, it's about freedom,and always has been.

Rick Cooper is nothing but a puppet who's strings are pulled by a bigger federal agency and he has no BALLS to question their methods or their final analysis. My feeling is their is a bigger underlying issue that went on at CCMA in the past and a huge cover up is going on. I know im a conspiracy theorist but think about it. The place is a wasteland thanks to mining mostly. What really went on there? Post "ride at your own risk" signs and be done with it. Give the land back to the people!!!!!!!
